Hoover Dam

We drove over Hoover Dam to get to and from the grand canyon. They are doing construction still on the bypass bridge. So dry along the way i have no idea where the water comes from. In the middle of the dessert. The drive out there was shocking to see how dry it is. Why would anyone put a casino city in the middle of it. Vegas i am talking about . You pop over the horizon and there it is.
We are in Monroe Still with Jackie. Steph and i went shopping with Jackies Neice today. What a lovely girl. Switched on. Drove us around. She is only 17 but a very smart young lady. We were lucky to have her take us to normal dress shops to buy normal sized clothes. Now that i have more than 2 sets of clothes i might change in my photos. We have filled an extra suitcase already. Everything is so cheap. And not cheap quality either. I bought Nike Shox joggers for training and they cost $100. And gel asics joggers for $40.
Up to Mississippi tomorrow to view history of the red coats and the blue coats.

Grand Canyon

Wow again. hahaha The grand canyon is sensational. And what a difference playing with a new camera.

Damn cold to. Temp dropped so fast. And the food at the lodge was so nice hot and wholesome. Chicken hotpot pie for lunch and beef pot roast for dinner. With the left over 7 layer mud cake for dessert. It is so good there. You pay $25 to get in the park for car and they give you a free bus shuttle to all the great viewing spots of the canyon. We did stay for the sunset but the cloud cover was to thick, We did see the rain come through a gully which is in 1 of the pictures i took. The History and story boards along the walk were so informative. Alot of effort has gone into this great hole . Hope you enjoy the pics.

Las Vegas

Wow!!!! what a place. Where do i start. Was amazing place. Just 1 big massive party. Lots of police. Lots of lights. The strip is 4 miles long and we didnt walk it. But we did take a limo tour and wow. Nearly every hotel does something special. There is 1 place that has a big volcano thing happeneing at 9 pm every night. There is a hotel that has a boat show every night 4 times a night. And you cannot get near the place. Belagio has a 9 million dollar fountain set up that spurts to music. All night. Freemont strip has sensational laser light shows in there roof. Its over a mall. So all outdoors. We went to a lesser life end of the strip and there is a drive through chappel. Funny stuff. Porn is spelt Pawn. Casinos everywhere. We just didnt have enough time to do it all. We saw david copperfield. You go from casino to casino for shopping. And you cant cross the rds . Its all escalators. Have a look at pics. Only a couple to show. I bought a new camera in vegas so hopefully the quality pics up for pics. The streets are filled with dancers.
Had so much fun.In monroe now with Jackie our friend. Was great to finally meet him. So will update you more soon.

Disney

Sorry. iv been trying to catch up but having so much fun in vegas that we havent stopped. Disney was amazing. The park was so clean and so much to do and see. We didnt do everything but what we did do was awsome
The people here are great. So happy to help. Might be something to do with wanting a big tip. We are in vegas now and off to grand canyon. Will put more pics up and tell you more about vegas soon. WOW!!! I never thought i would say how much fun we have had and not done this sooner. Always said we didnt care if we went to USA but so glad we did now. All feeling sore though, Soft beds and lots of walking. The parade of disney was great. Just one big party. We have been craving healthy foods and finally found it at disney. The pineapple was the best. But the weirdest thing we see is people just buying big pickles and eating like a ice block. Yuk!!

Hi everyone

California land today

Wow!! Amazing day. We 3 are very tired but determined not to slow down for we will miss to much. Went to california land today and it was awsome. Cannot emphasise how wanderfull this park was. So clean and the people are amazingly polite. Havent come across any arogant americans as yet. Only people who have been arrogant are the foreign pretend to be americans, 1 Comment that i have to share. There is to much water in the toilets. Strange shape which puts to much water in the dunny. And most are auto flush. So your not even off the seat and its flushing merrily away. Some amazing rides today . All were waiting 45 minutes in line for. Some pics again. Disney tomorrow
